Hayley Orrantia is the American actor, singer and songwriter. She is best known as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy program "The Goldbergs". She is primarily an actor. Music is her first love she claims; it's something she's dabbled at when she was 9 years old. When she was 12 years old, music was serious enough for her to pursue a career in music. Following a few attempts at music, she decided to record her first album of music covers when she was 14. The music has never stopped since then. Orrantia was born in the USA however she has Hispanic roots. She is a native of Hispanic roots even if she was only able to speak English when a young girl and lived her life in the USA. She tries to preserve it by studying Spanish and creating songs in the Spanish language. "Hasta Verte," a track she composed in Spanish is an example of this. Orrantia participated in The X Factor season 1's auditions in the summer of 2011. Orrantia won the first season of The X-Factor when she uploaded a YouTube recording of her audition. She was awarded the four "yes" vote from the judge during the live stage in Seattle. The first time she was auditioning for soloist, she along with three female singers were put in the final auditions in "Hollywood Week". The live performances were held in the 5th week.
