Pickler's childhood was a rocky one. At the age of two, her mother fled an abusive relationship. Pickler was reunited with her mother in 1995, when she was appointed the custodian. However, it wasn't as was planned. At the age of 12, Pickler aged 12, the court returned her to her maternal grandparents whom she grew up until adulthood. Pickler had to be busy with her children in the absence of parents. She said that because she was not able to devote time to studies, she started to master cooking and wash at a young age. Pickler participated in the cheerleading teams of her middle and high school. North Stanly High School, where she was a graduate in 2004 it was her high school.
