Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer and animal rights activist. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 1972 are among her most acclaimed films. Her family was an artist family in New York and wanted to pursue a career in arts. Her first job was as a photo assistant. Then she moved on to acting and modeling. The award she received was the Golden Globe Award, for most promising newcomer. MacGraw quickly became famous in the year 1970 following her hit movie Love Story. She was considered for nomination to an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. In just three films, she received the title of top female debut at the box office in the world. In Grauman's Chinese Theater In 1972, she was able to have her signature and hand-footprints engraved. In addition to The Getaway Convoy Players she played a part in the tv miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures is her autobiography which was published in the year 1991. MacGraw got married to three different people.
